Questions people ask first
Is she a real person?
No. stll is an AI companion, not a person, counsellor, or crisis service. Her replies are generated automatically, without a person reviewing or approving each one. She can misunderstand you or give inaccurate responses. Do not rely on her for diagnosis, treatment, or deciding whether you need professional help.
Who can read what I say?
There is no staffed conversation-monitoring service, but that does not mean messages cannot be accessed. AI and other service providers process messages as described in the privacy policy. Automated checks can record flagged messages linked to your account and attempt to send account details and an excerpt to the operator through Discord. Other usage flags may also be recorded for review. If you request support, we may need to look at a conversation and will tell you. None of this provides emergency monitoring or guarantees a human response.
Which Bible does she use?
The World English Bible, British Edition. It's a modern, public-domain translation, so there's no licensing tangle, and it reads naturally when spoken aloud.
How does the free trial work?
You get 7 days of everything, free. We ask for a card when you start so that she carries on without a break if you decide to stay, but nothing is charged during the trial. If you do nothing, Stripe charges $7 when the trial ends and each month after, until you stop. Cancel from your account page before the trial ends and you are never charged. One free trial per person.
What if I stop paying, or leave?
Cancel whenever you like. During the trial, nothing is ever charged; after it, you keep her until the end of the month you've paid for. Once it ends you can no longer send messages, but cancelling does not delete your conversations or her memory of you, so if you come back she still knows you. Deleting your account is separate: you do it from your account page, and you have thirty days to undo it. The privacy policy explains what is erased and the payment records that are kept.
What if I'm in real trouble right now?
Do not use stll to report an emergency. We do not have staff assigned to assess threats or respond, and we cannot locate you or send emergency help. A message about self-harm or violence does not notify emergency services. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 in the US or your local emergency number.
