Terms

Who you are dealing with

stll by Ziora is a service of Ziora, LLC, a business in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Ziora operates it and takes the payments. “We” and “us” in these terms mean Ziora, LLC, and these terms are the agreement between you and us. You can find us at ziora.io, and write to us at info@ziora.io.

Your card statement will say Ziora, not stll. That is us, and it is the same $7. If a charge you do not recognise appears, write to us at info@ziora.io before disputing it and we will sort it out.

What she is not

stll is an AI companion. She is not a therapist, a doctor, a pastor, or a crisis service, and she is not a substitute for any of them. She does not diagnose anything and she does not give medical advice.

Nobody supervises her. No person reviews what she says before you read it. There is no moderation team and nobody on call. She is software talking to you unsupervised, and she can be wrong about anything, including things she sounds certain about.

Who can see what you say. Nobody reads your conversations as a matter of routine, but they are not sealed. Software checks messages for crisis language, and for attempts to use her as a general assistant or to change what she is. When it flags one, an excerpt of the message, up to 900 characters, is saved with your account, and it can be sent to us as a private Discord message with your name on it. If you ask us for help, we may need to look at a conversation, and we will tell you if we do. The privacy policy has the details.

If you are in danger right now, do not use this. Call or text 988 in the US for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, text HOME to 741741, or call 911. Outside the US: findahelpline.com. Nothing you write here reaches a person who can come and help — not quickly, and not necessarily at all. Crisis language is flagged by software and filed for us to read later, which is a record and not a response.

Using it

  • You need to be 18 or older. Companion chatbots like stll may not be suitable for some minors.
  • One account per person. It is yours; do not share it.
  • Do not use it to harass anyone, to break the law, or to attempt to get at other people’s conversations.
  • She is an AI and can be wrong. Weigh what she says the way you would weigh a friend’s opinion, not a professional’s.

The Bible she quotes

Every verse she quotes comes from the World English Bible (British Edition), a public-domain text, fetched verbatim rather than recalled by the model. If you ever find her misquoting it, tell us at info@ziora.io and we will treat it as a defect.

Free trial and payment

stll is $7 a month. It includes everyday conversation with her and voice notes, and renews automatically on the same day each month until you stop it.

Fair use. A subscription is for one person’s own conversations. It is generous, but it is not unlimited. If an account is shared, automated, or used far beyond what personal conversation needs, we may slow it down or pause it.

A new subscription starts with a seven-day free trial, or a longer one when the invitation link you arrived by says so; the checkout page shows the length before you give a card. You need to give a card to start the trial, and nothing is charged during it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription continues automatically when it does: $7 is charged on the day the trial ends, and on the same day each month after that. The trial is once per person; if you have had one before, or subscribed before, your subscription starts and is charged straight away.

Without a trial or subscription you can still sign in and read your past conversations, but you cannot send messages. Nothing is deleted when a trial or subscription ends.

Payments are taken by Stripe on Ziora’s behalf, and appear on your statement as Ziora. We never see or hold your card details. You can change the card or read your receipts from your account page at any time.

Cancel whenever you like, from your account page, in one click. If you cancel during the free trial you keep access until the trial ends and you are never charged. After the trial, you keep your subscription until the end of the month you have already paid for, and nothing further is taken. We do not pro-rate a part month, so a cancellation is never a reason to hurry — but if you believe you have been charged in error, write to us at info@ziora.io and we will put it right.

If we ever change the price, we will tell you before it applies to you, and you will have the chance to stop first.

Buying from the shop

Things in the shop are bought with one payment, not a subscription, at the price on the page when you check out, taken by Stripe like everything else here. Some are free: you give an email address and we send you the link. You do not need an account for either. A digital purchase is yours to download, for your own use; please do not share the files. Downloads open on the device you bought on and, from a link we email to the address you bought with, on up to five devices in all. Every PDF and EPUB you buy carries your email address and order number, printed in the file. Something we post goes to the address you give at checkout, in the United States only.

Some things come with free months of stll. They arrive as a link, and whoever claims it — you, or someone you give it to — has that many months of the subscription’s price added to their stll account as credit, used against their next payments. Someone new to stll still has the free week first, and still needs to give a card to start, as everyone does. A gift link can be claimed once, has no cash value, and stops working if the order is refunded.

If something you bought is not what it should be, or a file will not open, write to us at info@ziora.io and we will put it right.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from your account page, and what that destroys is described in the privacy policy. We may close an account that breaks these terms. We will give notice unless somebody’s safety makes that unwise.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If a change is a material one, we will also email subscribers about it before it takes effect. Using stll after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can cancel or delete your account from your account page.

The legal part

The service is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Ziora, LLC’s liability is limited to what you have paid us in the last twelve months. None of this limits anything that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law. Any dispute about them or about stll will be decided in the state or federal courts located in St. Lucie County, Florida, and you and we both agree to those courts. If the law where you live gives you rights that an agreement like this cannot take away, nothing here takes them away.
