Bible verses about God's forgiveness

There may be something you keep going back to, something you are sure is too much. These verses are about how far God's forgiveness actually goes.

1. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

2. “For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness towards those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”

3. “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

4. ““Come now, and let’s reason together,” says the LORD: Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

5. “Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn’t retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness. He will again have compassion on us. He will tread our iniquities under foot. You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.”

6. “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.”
